The best time to visit Philippines (Boracay) is March and April. In summer, temperatures rise to 32°C; in winter they can drop to 24°C. During the best travel months, the sun shines up to 9 hours per day — ideal for beach and outdoor activities.
Boracay is governed by two monsoon winds that have their own names in the Philippines. From November to April the amihan from the northeast brings dry, settled weather — February to April are the driest months at 87 to 117 mm, with eight to nine hours of sunshine. From June to October the habagat takes over from the southwest, with 260 to 400 mm a month across seventeen to twenty rain days.
In practice the wind also decides which beach you use: the famous White Beach on the west side is sheltered and calm during the amihan but churned up during the habagat — visitors then move to Bulabog on the east side, which in winter is the kitesurfing ground. The island effectively rotates with the season.
Temperatures barely matter: 29–32°C all year, never below 24°C at night, and the sea steady between 27°C and 30°C. The travel season is therefore clearly November to May, centred on February to April. The typhoon season remains a consideration, falling mainly between July and October and invisible in climate averages.
