Travel season — mid-range prices, good availability.
October is among the best months in Mexico (Los Cabos): only 3 rain days, 32°C (90°F) highs, and good sunshine make for ideal holiday conditions.
Daytime highs average 32°C (90°F), cooling to 24°C (75°F) at night (daily average: 28°C (82°F)). Peaks reach around 35°C (95°F), the coldest nights around 18°C (64°F). With 10 sunshine hours per day, October is one of the sunniest months — 35 mm (1.4 in) of rain over 3 days. The water is a warm 30°C (86°F) — perfect for snorkelling and swimming.
Pack light summer clothing, sunscreen, and swimwear — beach and water conditions in October are ideal.
Hot, humid and with the warmest sea of the year: swimming and snorkelling are a pleasure now, and the hotels are emptier and cheaper. The rain, however, arrives in heavy downpours, and the hurricane season calls for flexible bookings. By October the weather gradually settles again.
One of the richest marlin fishing tournaments in the world, with around 170 boats; start and awards take place at the Cabo San Lucas marina.
