Still off-season — flights and hotels significantly cheaper than in December.
November is an acceptable travel month for Chile (Easter Island) — conditions are fine, though January, February, March, April, and December offer even better weather.
Daytime highs average 24°C (75°F), cooling to 18°C (64°F) at night (daily average: 21°C (70°F)). Peaks reach around 25°C (77°F), the coldest nights around 14°C (57°F). With 10 sunshine hours per day, November is one of the sunniest months — 60 mm (2.4 in) of rain over 7 days. Sea temperature is 22°C (72°F) — pleasantly warm for long swim sessions.
A jacket for cool evenings should not be left behind. Sightseeing and excursions can be enjoyed comfortably at this time of year.
Spring brings warmth and blossom back: the island greens, the days lengthen and the water slowly warms. Visitor numbers rise but stay moderate. For walking along the rim of Rano Kau and visiting the moai at the quarry it is very pleasant now.
