The USA offers two of the most popular sun destinations for European travellers on ClimaAtlas: Miami on the East Coast with a subtropical climate and Hawaii in the middle of the Pacific. Both have year-round warm temperatures but very different characters — Miami is metropolis and beach in one, Hawaii is a natural paradise with a unique microclimate on each island.
Miami has its best travel time from November to April: temperatures of 22–28°C, little rain and no hurricane risk. From June to October is hurricane high season — travel is possible but weather-dependent. Hawaii is ideal year-round: the constant north-easterly trade wind keeps temperatures at a pleasant 24–31°C, and each side of each island has its own microclimate.
